Upcoming event: Montreal diocesan launch of World Youth Day 2008

The Youth Ministry office of the Archdiocese of Montreal has sent out an announcement regarding preparations for the 23rd World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia, to be held in July 2008.

There will be a special information session on February 1, 2007, at 9:00 pm, at the archdiocesan offices (2000 Sherbrooke Ouest). The agenda of the evening will cover:

  • What is WYD? – A brief overview.
  • Viewing of the World Day 2008 promotional DVD
  • Distribution of promotional material available
  • Detailed information on the various packages available
  • Information on Days in the Diocese in Australia
  • Registration & Payment - Conditions
  • Fundraising Tools
  • Spiritual Preparation Tools available
  • Opportunity to meet others who will participate at the WYD 2008

Bishop André will be present, as well as a representative of the travel agency that will be assisting the Montreal pilgrims. If you are planning on going to Sydney, it is an event not to be missed!
