Parish mission on the sacraments
I have been preaching a mission at Holy Family parish, following the same pattern I used for the faith enrichment evenings at Saint Mary’s. The fourth evening, though, was a bit different, because the fourth evening covers something I call the “Four spiritual food groups” and I had already done a mission once before on the subject for this parish. How are you liking Holy Family? Whenever I have a student who is fed up for some reason or another with his/her local parish and is about to give up on “the whole church thing,” I send them to Holy Family. Those who go end up not giving up…I was wondering what you thought of it.
