Going on retreat

Just to let our faithful readers know, Fr. Thomas Dowd (i.e. I) will be going on retreat starting July 8 until the 18th. I’m looking forward to starting my annual vacation time with the Lord in a more personal way. I’ll keep all of our Adventus readers in my prayers.

UPDATE: Well, I’m off. For Allan in the comments box, as well as A., I., and J. who emailed me, your prayer requests are tucked into my spiritual journal and are coming with me. So probably no posts from me for the next 10 days — God’s blessings on everyone!

    1. That Canadian Bishops will generously allow the use of the 1962 Missal and the establishment of traditional parishes in response to Summorum Pontificum; and

    2. For the repose of the soul of my unborn child, who died.
