		<description>Father Tom, where does the teaching that life begins at conception come from, exactly?  Scientifically, the fertilized egg needs to be implanted on the uterus wall for life to begin (when it separates, life ends, hence miscarriage).  I have always known the Church&#039;s position, but not -why- that position was taken and if any science was involved at all.

		<description>My devoutly Christian husband and I are going through embryo adoption as our means of growing our family. We are blessed by another couple having frozen embryos available for us. However, we do wish that no embryos were created that are not implanted directly into their mother&#039;s womb.</description>
